Optimal Performance; The Greatest of All Time.

Optimal Performance; The Greatest of All Time.

The Greatest of All Time.  Optimal Performance brings the best of people. Consistency plus a plan which values work, recovery, growth and release.  Key factors for people to perform at such high levels are their programs and habits.

You can take your performance in health to the next level through a clean eating plan with proper nutrient support, mindset and lifestyle. It’s structured with a clear path and plan.

To be 43 years old and playing in peak performance shows what’s possible for any age with a plan that supports you physically mentally and emotionally.   Trust me, there’s a lot which goes into it, beyond the field.

Optimal Performance takes the inner workings of you and organizes and structures your health, nutrition, fitness, mindset and lifestyle. This is not a gym, or personal training. A gym is a place you pay to rent and a personal trainer gives you exercises, spots and counts. A coach sees your potential, guides and coaches you to excellence.  Their philosophy and skills bring more to you than just the physical.

When you decide your health and performance is a priority, take the steps to get involved in the right programs. You’re going to need to structure your day. You’ll need the right support systems. You’ll need to know where your fine line is….between anabolic and catabolic (that’s building and breakdown). With too much you’ll break down more than you’re building or stagnate your progress.

Your health and well-being, your performance is more feelings, emotions and mindset. Being present in your workouts. Being present in your mindset. Plus, your body’s function and production of hormones and neurotransmitters.

Are you willing to look at your overall health and well-being to uplevel, to grow?

Can you see the potential and possibilities you have for yourself?

How much productivity and focus will a coach bring to your career as an athlete or entrepreneur to organize and structure your health, nutrition and lifestyle?

Here are 3 steps to focus on your health today;

  1. Start your day with movement.  Fitness, from weight training, yoga, running, cycling, are great ways to start your day with a practice and healthy habits.

For some we see opportunity, growth and neccessary changes.

For others the changes have been traumatic and life changing in a way you’re unclear on how to make changes. Everything falling apart at once.

Paying attention to your health is actually an important value system now. More than ever.

Your health gives you physical, mental and emotional strength.

Focus, discipline, consistency, resiliency are KPI’s for well-being your overall health. You see you live, work, play, relate to others because of how you are. The way you act, feel and do.

When you act, feel and do from places of focus, discipline, consistency and resiliency you are giving yourself permission and opportunity to grow and thrive.

When you can put habits and actions in place for you health to strength you, you set yourself up for more, something greater. You get to a place where you’re adding to your life by being healthy.

When everything falls apart at once it is essential you focus your energy on what you can control, build and lean on. You must start with one thing, work consistently and diligently. Your health is the best place to begin as it builds all of your inner strength and outer strength.

How I built my foundation of success doing the opposite.

How I built my foundation of success doing the opposite.

They thought I was crazy. “Who would need or want what you have to offer”,  they said. I was determined in my ethics, clear in my feelings and actions. I knew without a shadow of a doubt my head and heart were aligned, in integrity,

Your Endocrine System- The Hypothalamus: CEO of your Body

Your Endocrine System- The Hypothalamus: CEO of your Body

Your endocrine system is made up of glands found throughout the body. These glands, which produce hormones, send hormones into the bloodstream or into the fluid around cells, and receptors to be distributed among organs and tissues, and “programmed” to respond to the hormones. Essentially

Glutathione and your body- the Cellular Level of You.

Glutathione and your body- the Cellular Level of You.

Glutathione is an antioxidant produced in cells made up of three amino acids: glutamine, glycine, and cysteine. One unique thing about glutathione is that the body is able to make it in the liver, which is not true of most antioxidants.

Glutathione has many important functions, including:

  • making DNA, the building blocks of proteins and cells
  • supporting immune function
  • forming sperm cells
  • breaking down some free radicals
  • helping certain enzymes function
  • regenerating vitamins C and E
  • transporting mercury out of the brain
  • helping the liver and gallbladder deal with fats
  • assisting regular cell death (a process known as apoptosis)

Glutathione levels in the body may be reduced by a number of factors, including poor nutrition, environmental toxins, and stress. Its levels also decline with age.

Here are 4 Ways Glutathione supports your body and your overall health

1. May reduce respiratory disease symptoms

N-acetylcysteine is a medication used to treat conditions such as asthma and cystic fibrosis. As an inhalant, it helps to thin mucus and make it less paste-like. It also reduces inflammation. N-acetylcysteine is byproduct of glutathione

2. Reduces cell damage in alcoholic and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease

Glutathione has been shown to improve protein, enzyme, and bilirubin levels in the blood of individuals with alcoholic and nonalcoholic chronic fatty liver disease. Cell death in the liver may increase by a deficiency in antioxidants, including glutathione. The livers main function is to detoxify the blood.

3. Reduces oxidative stress

Oxidative stress occurs with the production of free radicals and the body’s inability to fight them off. Too-high levels of oxidative stress may be a precursor to multiple diseases. These include diabetes, cancer, and rheumatoid arthritis. Glutathione helps to reduce the impact of oxidative stress, in turn, reduce disease. It also stated that elevated glutathione levels raised antioxidant levels and resistance to oxidative stress in cancer cells.

4. May help fight against autoimmune disease

Autoimmune diseases attack the mitochondria, the power house of the cell, in specific cells. Glutathione works to protect cell mitochondria by eliminating free radicals. The chronic inflammation caused by autoimmune diseases increases oxidative stress. Glutathione helps reduce oxidative stress by either stimulating or reducing the body’s immunological response.

Glutathione is part of a healthy immune system and supports the body’s detoxification process. Order today and save 15% on your first order.
