Modern society has looked at fitness to be a certain way. So much emphasis on harder, more core and strength, from the outside. To be transparent, health in relation to fitness doesn’t come from here. Health in relation to fitness comes from connecting within. Your stabilizing system, your deep intrinsic muscles these are the key to health longer term. When you are active and engaged in this kind of fitness & health you hold power, leverage and the capacity to stand strong. Resistance, while helps us become stronger must be balanced with stability and mobility. Traditional training does not interconnect on a global level this type of motion.

Stability and mobility are foundational for any type of strength, flexibility and movement. No way around it. Stability and mobility keep you young and youthful. It’s not about more or harder. Seriously it is about practical, intentional and integrative. When you can apply all the aspects of fitness into your fitness, you’re on to something. This means scheduling your time for movements and activities which are more than the doing of cardio, weight training or HIIT. This becomes understanding the methods which move your body and the systems as they connect.

Integrating a functional and integrative movement program brings to you greater health from your fitness.

Look to maximize your workouts, by exercises which work your deep muscle fibers of your rotators, your pelvic floor, your inner unit in your hips and the movement of the shoulder blades and rotators of your shoulders. These areas are the true identity of your core. Keep them moving well, with rotation, stability and mobility. Your body will show up stronger, more powerfully and leaner and longer.

The gift in fitness is the health you gain. Don’t sacrifice what you think strength and a healthy body is for the true nature of fitness and health.

This means the fun of just trying or getting in your steps or somedays you feel like it and somedays you don’t is not to the next level of health. What it is, is building your foundation- habits, discipline, structure and commitment.

There is seriousness in your next level of health as you take responsibility.

You decide you know your worth, your abilities and you choose your goals, and faith over maybes and fears.

Responsible is response able. Your next level of health will look at your Mitochondria. Your next level of health will look at autophagy. And your next level of health will look at a balance of hormones.

We go deep, rooted, grounded and vision focused with vigor. Afterall health is synonymous with vitality.

This in itself shifts your mindset and recognition of food, fitness and lifestyle. Vitality comes through choices, finding presence and peace. Being focused on food, eating, when to exercise again is foundational. Gaining autonomy in nutrition and fitness keeps you pointing your radar to new heights. Next Level.

What I love to teach is the expectation of concentration. Concentration keeps you in the moment and open. This flow state brings more awareness, heightened feeling and senses and a place of personal power.

The power of this process and experience is no negotiating with yourself. You do. You are aware in the body out of the mind and in the spirit.

Finding peace with food and eating can actually be simple and practical. Food, is designed to nourish you. In this recognizing which foods work for you in that nourishment and which foods maybe more indulgent for joy & pleasure.

You see, when you are open to experience joy and pleasure food takes on a different perspective. It serves its purpose in the moment for joy AND you learn to let go of the attachment.

Letting go of the attachment.

Based on programming, past experiences, fear, poor choices attachment to the moment holds you hostage to the future. Sure, with making the wrong choices with foods can cause inflammation, bloating, gas, and all sorts of discomfort and pain, knowing how to settle yourself for smart choices for a sense of accomplishment and to hold yourself strong and powerful.

This requires you own up to your choices. You take responsibility for your habits and shift your mindset around d food.

Think of the thoughts you currently have around food and your actions. These thoughts and actions are leading to the results which keep showing up.

It may sound like….”How are my thoughts going to change my weight?”. If you believe each time you make a choice with food, or have a meal or food off your meal plan you are going to gain weight, then this is in direct conflict of what your desired goals are. Boom 💥

Letting go of attachment requires you to make peace and be settled, mind, body and spirit with the foods you eat. Be in Peace. Be present and accepting. This is a great test in FAITH, your FAITH in you, and in your beliefs and desires.

Try it on. I mean how does it feel? How does it inspire or make you feel?

Being open is a great gift for yourself. Open holds no resistance, no power. Which means you flow. Food, your body, tour thoughts all find a way to move and….be free.

I promise you, it sounds challenging and so outside what you can see, and it is the pathway, the gateway to the body and lifestyle you CRAVE 😉
